A Note by Kasra Noori, CEO of the International Exhibitions Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Government Week is a reminder of the profound value of sincere and responsible service to the people, and an opportunity to reflect once again on the role of institutions that provide and strengthen the infrastructure for the country’s economic development.
Today, Iran’s exhibition industry is one of the strategic pillars of the national economy and a driving force behind the integration of production, trade, investment, and exports. International exhibitions are not merely venues for showcasing goods and services; they are platforms for forging economic partnerships, presenting national capabilities, and creating new opportunities for Iran’s effective presence in regional and global markets.
Exhibitions stand firmly alongside Iran’s production and trade. This mission places an even greater responsibility upon us to develop specialized events, enhance the quality of exhibition services, and strengthen private-sector participation, so that exhibitions may increasingly serve as engines of economic growth and as a showcase for the country’s progress.
During Government Week, while commemorating the memory of the esteemed martyrs Mohammad-Ali Rajaei and Mohammad-Javad Bahonar, I extend my sincere appreciation to all those serving the Islamic Republic, as well as to economic stakeholders, exhibition organizers, and the entire exhibition industry community who are working toward the advancement and prosperity of our beloved Iran.
